I’ve reached the point in my life where I’m no longer in search of prom dresses, but bridesmaid dresses. I’ve had to say farewell to the high school dances and hello to standing by the side of family and friends as they tie the knot. I was a bridesmaid in my cousin’s wedding last year and I have the privilege of being a bridesmaid in my dear friend’s wedding this summer. So recently, I have been in hot pursuit of a bridesmaid dress. In the process of searching for a dress and watching all of the recent award shows, I’ve come to the conclusion that pastel colors are very much in style. Spring has sprung and it is time to break out the pastels.
Just last week at the 2017 ACM awards the young women of country stunned in pastels. Kelsea Ballerini looked stunning in a pastel green and Lauren Alaina shined in a beautiful blue pastel gown. Earlier this year, Jennifer Lopez and Elle King rocked the Grammy red carpet in pastels. Halie Steinfeld showed her love for pastels at the 2017 Oscars. Ladies, believe me when I tell you that pastels are the colors of the Spring/Summer and Faviana knows it! Their collection of pastel dresses is astounding. They have multiple styles in pastel colors. I particularly love the Faille satin v-neck dress which is pictured above. The dress is a Hollywood classic with a fairytale flair. The elegant style, satin shine, and pastel colors make the dress perfect for any occasion. Shall we take a walk through the pastel color palette?
Let’s begin with Faviana Style 7755 in Peri. This Peri colored dress is what I like to refer to as Ginger Rogers meets Cinderella. It has a modern day princess feel. Its gorgeous color complements all skin tones. This beautiful gown is what the saying “pretty in pastels” was made for.
Next, we have Sage Green. I like to think of the sage green as being on the bolder side of pastels. The color is a bit more daring, yet versatile. It looks amazing on brunettes, blondes, redheads and raven haired! So you can rock the dress with the beauty you were born with or what ever hair color you prefer.
Lastly, there is Dusty Pink. This dusty pink dress is stunningly simple. It’s subtle shade nether the less captures attention instantaneously. The color is perfect for anyone who is a little nervous about wearing pastels.
With Easter just around the corner, pastel attire is in full bloom. Like the flowers in May, pastels are very much welcomed in spring and summer fashion. Making the Faviana dress the perfect addition to your wardrobe. The dress is really versatile. The front slit and draped front make the dress perfect for pairing with your choice of heels or sandals, depending on your comfort. Dress it up with some jewelry or keep it simple. Wear your hair up in a classic bun, or down in loose waves, or even swept to the side. Be bold, be soft, be sweet, be daring, be simple, and be show stopping. In this dress, you can do it all. So embrace your Andie Walsh and dare to be Pretty in Pink, or whatever pastel color you choose!
