Film Fest Fashion

The 2017 Cannes Film Festival is in full swing. Viewings of new films of all genres from around the world started on May 17 and will continue till May 28. The films are not the only thing viewers are celebrating. Cannes is also full of radiating red carpet looks, many of which had a very earthy style. Take a look at a few of my favorites below.

The Best of The Met

On the first Monday in May, The Metropolitian Mueseum of Art welcomed celebrities, young creatives, and industry icons to their 2017 Met Gala. The event paid tribute to fashion designer, Rei Kawakubo. Fashion’s biggest night was filled with amazing looks or what I like to call “The Best of The Met.” Blake Lively in Atelier… Continue reading The Best of The Met

An Agenda For Those With Big Plans

As I finish up the final two weeks of my sophomore year, I can’t stress enough how important a good planner is. It may seem a little old school, but I love my planner. I suppose I like being able to physically check things off a list. It gives me a little sense of accomplishment.… Continue reading An Agenda For Those With Big Plans

Pretty in Pastel

I’ve reached the point in my life where I’m no longer in search of prom dresses, but bridesmaid dresses. I’ve had to say farewell to the high school dances and hello to standing by the side of family and friends as they tie the knot. I was a bridesmaid in my cousin’s wedding last year… Continue reading Pretty in Pastel

First Blog Post

First of all, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you taking the time to read what I have to write. I would like to use my first blog post to introduce myself.

I’m Montana Modderman. I’m currently a sophomore at The University of South Florida (Go Bulls)! There I am majoring in mass communications with concentration in broadcast journalism. I’m a news junkie who runs on coffee! I’m passionate about finding and sharing stories. If i’m being honest, I feel personally indebted to the women who have gone before me and paved the way in broadcast journalism. Women like Nancy Dickerson, Barbra Walters, Jane Chastain, and Oprah Winfrey are just a few who inspire me.

I also enjoy concerts, films, fashion and sporting events. To me, there is nothing like watching an NBA game in person. While personally it is impossible for me to pick my favorite film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Field of Dreams are a couple I enjoy. I’m also passionate about politics, but that’s a post for another time.
